Timber Species
Oak is a dense hardwood with deep character in its swirls and wavy grain.
Larch has straight and finely spaced grain with tones of reddish brown.
Meranti has short flecks of grain and is often stained a darker tone.
European Pine is the most economical timber and has attractive honey tones with interesting contrasts when finger jointed.
Spruce offers the best insulation value and has a very light colour and subtle grains to give a modern scandanavian look.
